Jackie and Jarrett started dating in 2001, got in engaged in 2009, and were married on September 18, 2010.

Throughout the years of growing together and starting our careers, we felt the urge to hit the road and feed the travel bug. We were both excited to travel in our University years, but our travel expeiences were constrained  due to financial constraints.  After graduation and some time in the workforce, we realized we wanted to see the world, quite the way to start our married life.

In order to document our year on the road and inspire others to pursue similar adventures, we decided to create Worldly Couple as a place for people to follow our pursuits and become a source for others to plan endeavours of their own. Throughout the course of our adventure, this site will serve to deliver tips, videos, pictures, journals and other first hand accounts of our experiences.

Enjoy the site, we hope this will inspire people to move from their seat in the office to a seat on an airplane!
