We headed to the southern islands of Thailand to sit on the beach and relax for a few days. Although it rained for 75% of the time we were there, we still got to take in the Island and it’s beauty. Here are a few pictures of our time in Ko Lanta.

Nice pics!! Which other islands did you check out in southern Thailand? Any recommendations, for a real chilled out island that is a wee bit less touristy? Was the rain bad enough that you would never go again at this time of year???

Ko Lanta was really great and relaxed compared to other places on the Andaman Sea. We were actually not there during the rainy season…there was a really bad storm that hit the southern portion of Thailand while we were there, flooding a large portion of the mainland, and the islands in the Gulf. With that said, we were actually stranded on Ko Lanta for a while and didn’t make it to see the Gulf islands, we were planning to see Ko Tao and we still might after Vietnam…
