Going to Laos is a very interesting experience, initially we were excited to check out some of the natural beauty the country is so well known for but after getting to Vientiane we visited COPE, an organization dedicated to helping the victims of unexploded ordinance in Laos. Turns out that Laos is one of the most heavily bombed nations on the planet, during the Vietnam war the place was carpet bombed and the legacy of the bombing missions exist to this day. After visiting COPE and talking with Nam we felt humbled that the people of Laos have been through so much but still do everything with a smile on their faces. This episode focuses on the capital city, Vientiane, and the efforts that local organizations are doing to remedy the problems of the secret war. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing this and for having us donate to COPE. It’s awesome to see that you guys are trying to help and make an impact everywhere you two go. Keep up with the great videos
