Ulaanbaatar is a fascinating place straddling the past and the modern age in an almost perfect harmony. People live in gers on the outskirts of the city yet the city center is home to modern glass laced skyscrapers and a Louis Vutton store, a sight that would be sacrilegious in the days of the commies. From the bootleg natural history museum to the gigantic tribute to the greatest conquerer on the planet, feast your eyes on one of the coolest, yet strangest, cities we have visited.
